Sarah Dooley is a writer, musician, and comedian. A graduate of Barnard College with a degree in playwriting, she first gained recognition for her web-series 'And Sarah,' which was featured in the New York Times. Her original play won the American Avant-Garde Arts Festival in 2011, and she went on to publish the comedy book 'Are You My Uber?' (Running Press). As a musician, her debut album 'Stupid Things' was profiled on NPR and reached #16 on the iTunes pop charts. Her follow-up album 'Is This Heartbreak?' received features in Glamour and American Songwriter. She’s performed across the country, including at the Kennedy Center and recently alongside Conan O’Brien and Demetri Martin. Her creative work explores what it means to be human, and a woman in the world--and attempts to make all of it at least a BIT funny.
